La Terra 987 First Avenue

La Terra is a new chapter in classic Italian hospitality—rooted in tradition, refreshed for today, and grounded in a love of food and community. Led by longtime Midtown restaurateur Luigi Scarpelli, formerly of La Villetta, La Terra offers refined Italian fare and house-made pastas in a warm, intimate setting on First Avenue between 54th and 55th Streets. Our dining room tables are available for online reservations, while bar seats are typically available for walk-ins. If you don’t see your preferred time available, we keep a few tables open for walk-ins each evening, and usually have good availability after 8:30pm.
