Four generations have operated our family owned business, which is one of the most iconic eateries in the Philadelphia area. Famous for our unique blend of Italian and american quisene . We feature several varities of pizza including South Philly Tomato pie, traditional square pizza and Neopoltion pizza . We have a extensive menu which includes a wide variety of pasta entrees , available with seafood, chicken, veal, and other options . Romano's is most famous for being the "birthplace of stromboli !" Created in 1950 by our patriarch Nazzereno Romano. Inspired by an Italian favorite item Nat brought to america which he knew as "Imbottio pano" or translated "stuffed bread." Nazzereno made his own variation of this favorite from home by using a combination of italian meats, cheese and roasted bell peppers. We have now served this famous dish for over 74 years.
